Abstract

The Eco-Spiritual concept is being widely discussed after the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The Industrial Revolution led to the Eco-Spiritual concept being widely discussed after the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The Industrial Revolution had a profound impact on human life, and the relationship between humans and the environment was disturbed. Humans need nature to live. That’s why when disasters befall humans, such as floods, landslides, warming of the earth’s temperature due to the greenhouse effect, and an uncertain climate, humans suffer. One of humans’ responsibilities towards nature is to maintain, care for, and keep the balance of living ecosystems that exist in nature. In the religious perspectives, it’s named Eco-Spirituality. Through the Students Spirituality Development Program (P2SM), students and society are introduced directly to learn Eco-spirituality, care for issues of natural destruction, and get involved in environmental care actions. One of the P2SM implementation locations chosen was the slopes of the Kendeng mountains in Gower Hamlet, Karangawen village, Pati Regency, Central Java. This article is the result of implementing P2SM as a service using the Service Learning (SL) method, which consists of 3 stages: Seminar, Live in, and Action-Reflection. At the end of the P2SM implementation, introducing Eco-spirituality using the Service-Learning method was considered effective for students and the community.
